son of koi

This is carved on Blick Golden-Cut Linoleum - more difficult to carve than the Speedball Speedy cuts, but easier than traditional lino.

Elin, those koi blocks are so elegant! Which type of block do you prefer for carving?

I really look forward to viewing your excellent print-a-day series. It’s a terrific way (for viewer and artist) to remain mindful of passing time. But seriously, Elin - one a day? Might there come a day when you crank out seven and take the rest of the week off? That would be my temptation.
Brava and kudos to you.

More fabulous, fluid fishy art -- just lovely!

Hey...do you have to heat up this material?

Kim - I think I still like the Speedball Speedy-Cuts the best, but they're all good.

Maria - I'm going to try to do them one a day, since I said that's what I'd do! My problem so far has been that I've made several a day, because I keep not liking what I've made, so I make another. Yikes. I have to nip that in the bud.

Took - I didn't heat it up, and it's not too hard to cut. I'll try heating one and let you know how that works.

Thanks for the support and encouragement y'all!
