IF ... focused

This is old, but it fits the Illo Friday theme so Im'ma use it.

IF ... pattern

My first Illustration Friday entry in more than a year!

IF ... baby

IF ... save

Save the bees.

IF ... garden

IF ... theory

IF ... tales & legends

I have two entries for this week's Illustration Friday theme, tales & legends. Above is Sedna, the inuit goddess of the sea. Below, Theseus & the Minotaur. Both are quilted (hand and machine) fabric collages.

IF ... stitch

I know, it's 10:24 PM Thursday night, but I really didn't want to miss this week's Illustration Friday - stitch.

IF ... little things

IF ... zoo

Okay, I'm cheating, this is an old piece, not specifically made for IF. But...it's Thursday and I didn't have time to make anything new. This is a picture of Tuss, who was my favorite elephant (yes, I had a favorite elephant - it's no secret that I like elephants) at the Bronx Zoo. When she died, I made this piece to remember her by.

peace.

IF ... grow

I'm really far behind on Illustration Friday. I've missed some really good topics. I decided to do "grow" even though it's long gone, because I was using these images for something else (which I'll post in a couple days).

IF ... open

This week's theme (open) was a tough one. I went with the open mind/spirit idea. Green Tara - Buddha of enlightened activity.

IF ... alphabet

if ... visitors

IF ... missing

This week's Illustration Friday theme is missing. I posted a blog on July 3rd (the 16th anniversary of my mother's death) called "missing my mother." It seemed appropriate to use the photo in that blog for my illustration of this theme.

IF ... moon

IF ... poem

This week's Illustration Friday theme is poem. Below are the main elements which make up my illo.

a clip art fish

text of a poem written by my sister

a photo of Buddha statues at the Chuang Yen Monastery, Carmel, NY

a photo of a neon sign in a record store in New Haven, CT

IF ... suit

Here's my entry for this week's Illustration Friday ... suit. I started with a fashion illustration (see below) that I did a million years ago. Okay, 23 years ago.

IF ... paradise

IF ... cars

I'm late with this week's IF [cars], ironically because I spent much of my time driving back and forth across the great expanse that is Pennsylvania.
