summer camp 3 - day 5
I'm sad to say today was the last day of this week's summer camp at KAC. We started the day in Australia and made Didgeridoos, Aboriginal musical instruments, out of 36" tall cardboard mailing tubes. That's taller than some of the kids!
In altered art we made artist trading cards - everybody loves to make cards, but nobody ever wants to trade them!
We danced. They taught me the "Cotton Eye Joe" dance and I taught them the "told you so" dance from Scrubs.
and we skipped.
Oh my little rabbit squirrels - I'll miss you!

I've just finished enjoying all of the KAC posts. What fun! I love seeing kids enjoying the process of making things...they learn so much with such pleasure. Thanks!
