IF ... zoo
Okay, I'm cheating, this is an old piece, not specifically made for IF. But...it's Thursday and I didn't have time to make anything new. This is a picture of Tuss, who was my favorite elephant (yes, I had a favorite elephant - it's no secret that I like elephants) at the Bronx Zoo. When she died, I made this piece to remember her by.
peace.

holidaze
One deadline has been met, now I'm working on the other ones. Today I was in jewelry making mode for various holiday sales. Tomorrow I have to catch up on my neglected graphic design jobs, then it's on to art*o*mat. Plus, illlustration friday's topic this week is zoo. Gotta do that.
later dudes.

miracle on central park west
Hey y'all. Happy day after Thanksgiving. I have no time to write anything - big, scary deadline breathing down my neck - just posting pictures instead. Pictures are more interesting than words anyway.
peace.

remembering
I spent yesterday at a family gathering/reunion/memorial at my cousin's house in Silver Spring Maryland. Lots of looking at old pictures and trying to identify the people and places in them. Lots of reminiscing about the old stuff and catching up of the new stuff.
Thanks everybody - it was well worth the trip.
peace out.

crevulation
Howdy. I just launched a website for Mike Cobb & the Crevulators, an eclecticana band outta Brooklyn. The site is not totally finished yet, but don't let that stop you from visiting. Listen to the songs and check the gig dates - the next show is 11/16 at Lakeside Lounge, NYC.

It's a long url so bookmark it and visit often.

pottery & jewelry
I've been spending this week making jewelry for the Katonah Art Center's annual Pottery and Fine Craft Sale this weekend. As you might imagine, there will be pottery and fine crafts for sale - that's why we call it a pottery and fine craft sale. Some of the artists who will have work for sale are David Hughes and Clare Lewis, whose work looks like this...

[Clare]
If you happen to be in the northern Westhchester/southeastern Connecticut area, come check it out - Saturday & Sunday 10 to 4.
