ten twenty-one
Eighteen years ago today, on my mother's birthday, my beautiful little son was born. Before he arrived, I bought "grown up" clothes that I thought might eventually fit him. Every October 21st since, I've taken his picture wearing said clothes. Here are a few of those pictures...

Please post the whole birthday series! It is such a remarkable achievement.
What a wonderful creative idea for marking time!
Wow, what a handsome man.
I am so happy and proud to be the grandmother of Alex and happy and proud of Elin and David for guiding such a wonderful person and artist.

WOW. what a wonderful idea and you kept it up all these years...And what a handsome young man.
so beautiful and inspiring...it reminds me of this other "time record" recording i heard on NPR once. this man recorded the first heartbeat and cry, first words, and thoughts/comments throughout her life on the weather, politics, love, life, etc. it was just awesome.
What a cool idea! I was born on Oct 20. Tell Lex that Libras rock.
