summer camp - day 1
Today was my first day of summer camp at Katonah Art Center. This week the morning session is altered art. Today, the kids worked on board books that they'll work on a little more each day all week.
The afternoon session is world crafts. We started with Gyotaku (gee-oh-tah-koo) - Japanese fish printing. We used rubber fish.
By the end of the day the kids were a little crazy.
more tomorrow...

wow (again.) that was some fantastic summer camp. Wonderful lessons (did you make them up), great lookin' kids and studio space. AND, some kinda budget for art supplies! I'm going to look at all these camp entries again and steal ideas for my art program http://mundolindobeautifulworld.blogspot.com/
